SEATTLE, WA - Getting Seattle ready for the big game, volunteers organized by the Seattle Mariners, Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Seattle Association, and Together Washington will be doing litter pick-up, graffiti removal and landscaping in SoDo, Pioneer Square, Chinatown-International District and the Waterfront.

We are excited to share a recap of the highly successful Summit for the Common Good in Spokane. This impactful event brought together leaders from various sectors, creating a platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration on critical issues such as homelessness and political polarization. The Summit proved to be a resounding success, fostering unity and establishing common ground among attendees, all with the shared goal of advancing positive change in our community.

Together Washington partnered with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Seattle Association to host a Day of Service in Downtown Seattle. The focus of the day was to tackle litter cleanup, remove graffiti and plant tulip bulbs in the streets and parks near the convention center to celebrate the Seattle Convention Center’s Summit Expansion.

Together Washington along with the Yakima Steering Committee hosted dinners across The Yakima Valley with leaders of good faith and good will. These dinners are in preparation for a Yakima Summit to be held in Spring of 2022 and focused on the need to build bridges and work across divides.

Every community needs leaders to look to for guidance, wisdom, and strategy. Together Washington is fortunate to have a Board of Directors filled with such souls — people who have dedicated so much of their lives to making the world a better and fairer place. These are folks who bring communities together, uniters who make our neighborhoods flourish.

Though we are seeing light at the end of the Covid-19 pandemic, the toll Covid is taking on families across our region remains strong. Together Washington’s belief is that we are better together than divided.

On Wednesday, December 16 Together Washington served 2500 families with Fresh Food, Toys, Clothes and hot lunch.

On December 16 Together Washington, will be spreading holiday cheer to families in need by distributing Family Emergency Kits and Wrapped Toys for all the families!

The local nonprofit is helping families prepare for remote learning.

Several people impacted by the coronavirus received free emergency food kits as part of an effort to help those in need.

Together Washington held its first Summit for the Common Good February 7th & 8th, 2020 in Seattle, WA with over 190 leaders representing Government, Business, Non-Profit and Faith sectors, from the greater Seattle region in attendance.
