Day of Service Featured on KOMO
Together Washington partnered with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Seattle Association to host a Day of Service in Downtown Seattle. The focus of the day was to tackle litter cleanup, remove graffiti and plant tulip bulbs in the streets and parks near the convention center to celebrate the Seattle Convention Center’s Summit Expansion.
“We can maybe focus on the things that aren’t going well, but there are so many amazing things that are happening in our region in our city, that are coming, that to be able to bring that civic pride to our Seattle is so important. You see it on a day like this,” Tim Gaydos with Together Washington said.
