Amy King joined us today on the podcast. She is the Co-Founder of Square Peg Construction, Founder of Weld, and the Founder and CEO of Pallet. She is doing amazing work in our community. Her company hires people that cannot normally find jobs because they are exiting the criminal justice system and she is giving hope to the homeless by building Pallet homes for shelter and a fresh start.

Today, we had Bruce Harrell on the podcast. Bruce is a long-time Seattle community leader, graduate of UW and Rose Bowl champion, who served as President of the Seattle City Council. Bruce is now running for Mayor of Seattle and he has some amazing ideas on how to help small businesses and the houseless in our community. He believes leaders need to acknowledge what is not working for positive changes to start happening.

Today we had on Josh Ford, Coach for the Tacoma Defiance and the Sounders Academy, and Sean Muldoon, Head Strength-and-Conditioning Coach for the Sounders. Josh and Sean spoke about working to improve justice in our local community through their new organization, The Athletic Justice Collective.

Michelle Merriweather joined us on today's program. She is the CEO of Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle and she was named one of the top 25 Most Influential People in Seattle of 2020. She told our listeners about all the amazing things her organization is doing throughout our community and how she became inspired to become the leader she is today.

Miri Cypers joined us on the podcast. She is the Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League. She gave us the history of the ADL and how they are trying to make a world where no group or individual suffers from bias, discrimination or hate.

Christopher Williams came on the program today to discuss his work as Deputy Superintendent of Parks and Recreation, and what it means to be a great leader.
