Tim spoke today with Emily Washines, she is the founder of Native Friends. She spoke to us about the Yakama reservation, as well as the murdered Native women on the Yakama reservation and putting the issue in historical context.

Tim had an amazing conversation with Sharon Miracle. She is the CEO of Yakima Valley Community Foundation. They spoke about her work with the foundation and what the foundation is doing for Yakima.

Tim speaks with Boris Borisov, Together Washington COO. He has family right now in the Ukraine and talked about the situation there as well as what Ukrainians in the area are doing to help.

Tim had a great conversation with Steve Bury, Executive Director Urban Impact. They talked about some of the work he does in Seattle and the Martin Luther King Breakfast he helps organize.

Today Tim spoke with Monica Guzman, a well-known local journalist and a member of Together Washington's Board of Advisors. She just wrote a new fascinating book called: I Never Thought of It That Way HOW TO HAVE FEARLESSLY CURIOUS CONVERSATIONS IN DANGEROUSLY DIVIDED TIMES. They discussed the book and also chatted about the division going on in America and how to understand and even learn from people in your life whose whole worldview is different from or even opposed to yours.

Tim spoke with Thatcher Bailey, the Executive Director at Friends of Waterfront Seattle. He shared with us his vision for the Seattle waterfront and what they are doing right now with this amazing project.
