Seattle Metro Chamber, and Together Washington Unite for a Community Clean-up to Prepare Seattle for National Stage
On Friday, June 23, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., volunteers from across the greater Seattle area will disperse in the blocks around T-Mobile Park for a community cleanup. Getting Seattle ready for the big game, volunteers organized by the Seattle Mariners, Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Seattle Association, and Together Washington will be doing litter pick-up, graffiti removal and landscaping in SoDo, Pioneer Square, Chinatown-International District and the Waterfront.
“We are thrilled to bring together community members across our region to roll up our sleeves and help Seattle get ready for the national stage,” said Chamber President and CEO Rachel Smith said. “This community cleanup is anchored in the region’s business community and reflects our commitment to civic engagement. A city is made up of big moments, and those moments bring people together and allow us to champion one another’s efforts and celebrate the big wins.”
T-Mobile Park Rallying Point Address: 301-337 Edgar Martinez Dr. S, Seattle, WA 98134
Volunteers will be gathering in the Mariners Parking Plaza between 8:30-9 a.m.
