Christopher Williams

Christopher has devoted his professional life to public service. He is recognized for his leadership and responsiveness to the public he serves. He served as acting superintendent of Seattle Parks and Recreation from 2009 to 2014 and from 2017 to 2019.
He currently serves as the deputy superintendent/chief of staff for Seattle Parks and Recreation. Christopher manages the day to day operations, which includes more than 1000 employees, 10 swimming pools, 26 community centers, three environmental learning centers, and the maintenance and operation of 6,200 acres of parkland containing 400 developed parks. Christopher has served Seattle Parks and Recreation for over 26 years.
